According to Bernie Dodge, the developer of this model, there are six building blocks of a WebQuest. You can use any format for instance, website, Power Point, Google Doc, Word Doc, printed worksheet, etc., to create a WebQuest. You'll create the following pages.
- The Introduction direct students and captures their interest, by introducing the concept dealt with. Teachers might record or create a video to summarize what the student is supposed to learn.
- The Task outline the activity's final product.
- The Process introduces strategies students should use to accomplish the task.
- The Resources are the Web links and steps students will follow to complete the task.
- The Evaluation measures the students' results of the activity.
- The Conclusion outlines the activity and encourages students to reflect on its process and results.
